ZTX Limited
June 2024 - April 2025
- Ushered a Figma design from prototype to production, with pixel-perfect UI and user-friendly interactions, all within required timeframes and budget constraints. - Pioneered an AI-assisted image generation tool (w/ Fal) into an MS Paint-style canvas-based editor that we hand-rolled from scratch using Fabric.js. - Oversaw the first MVP launch and a later re-worked market-compatible entry of the product, focusing more on the front-end and dev-ops during the latter.

July 2024 - December 2024
- Deployed and monitored various services like the database, authentication server, proxy server, application assets, and more, using container technologies on a remote machine. - Refactored the code so there was no friction in getting the developers up and running. The end result was that a person went from instrumenting the app for hours/days to seconds. - Wrote the integration of a CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions. Every commit to a specific service branch would trigger a code build/test and then deploy the artifacts to a remote server.

- Worked on widgets that funneled users from third-party manufacturer sites, supplementing sales by 50+ purchases per day by the end of the third month of deployment alone. - Fixed critical bugs in the main checkout flow, steadily increasing the user retention percentage. Our cumulative efforts resulted in high all-time sales. - Worked on a bug in the filter code and ended up refactoring it in such a way that it reduced the latency of applying filters and returned results by half.

HPS Lab Designs
June 2018 - October 2021
- Investigated and fixed a latency issue found in our database, reducing the waiting time when users load data to the app from a couple of minutes to a handful of seconds. - Implemented an A/B testing suite on a fuel logs feature, gaining insights from data gathered, making recommendations on the next steps, and executing them. - Split up the event processor, a monolith server in charge of processing pings from IoT devices in the field. Separated state from logic and brought stateless nodes to the fore, easily scalable and recoverable from crashes.

In German, Zettel stands for note, and Merken for remember. A literal translation of the complete expression would be "remember your notes," but that is an overly simplistic definition of what the title stands for. Zettel Merken fuses two impactful ideas in knowledge management and learning enhancement—Zettelkasten and spaced repetition—to help users supercharge their learning.
View ProjectA simple RSS reader plugin for Neovim. It is written in Lua and is similar to Vnews (github.com/danchoi/vnews) and Elfeed (github.com/skeeto/elfeed). It is the best option when users have a bunch of feeds and wish to view the latest entries in Neovim instead of browsers or dedicated apps.
View ProjectA self-hosted website and jobs monitoring with downtime notifications pushed to Slack. Pingmon is still in a pre-alpha version and aims to be a kind of fire-and-forget app that ensures all user services are up without users needing to worry about it.
