Anap Jet had experienced a significant discrepancy between the time the company's jobs were posted on the job board and the low number of applications received. Through observation, I pinpointed the company website as the likely cause. A significant issue was the website's confusing user experience. The clustered layout hindered intuitive navigation, making it particularly challenging for individuals to find the careers page. Identifying the website's poor architecture as the core issue contributing to the pain points, I redesigned it with a focus on clarity and ease of navigation. This included ensuring applicants could readily locate the career page and upgrading the overall design for a more seamless and visually appealing experience.

While attending Nottingham Trent University, I identified challenges with the university's mobile app. Recognizing the negative impact on student user experience, and despite my limited UX design knowledge at the time, I felt compelled to contribute to an improved solution. The app had several problems, including glitches, clustered interface, and a malfunctioning attendance scanner. Students complained that the attendance scanner was particularly frustrating, as it often failed to work. My goal was to streamline the app's interface, enhancing its accessibility and user-friendliness for students. Recognizing the increasing prevalence of mobile technology, I envisioned integrating student ID functionality within the app, not only improving convenience but also bolstering security by mitigating the risk of lost physical cards.
