During my tenure at Vertu Motors, I developed my skills as a Software Engineer, specialising in React (ReactJS, ReactTS), AngularJS, and enhancing my JavaScript expertise overall. I worked and led key projects such as the Web Presenter Tool, Search Navigation Rewrite, Service Booking Rewrite, Content Hub Rewrite, Sell My Car, Make Model Pages, and provided feedback to other teams for tools like Vertu PayLater, all whilst simultaneously maintaining their diverse brands (Bristol Street Motors, Vertu Motors, Macklin Motors, Vans Direct, Vertu Motorcyles, The Taxi Centre, etc). My role required me to utilise Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban to drive project success. I also spent time travelling with the company to dealerships across the UK to get more hands-on and see applications I've helped built deployed in a real-life scenario, and have also attended events such as the AWS Summit London, up-skilling and becoming proficient in my understanding of Artificial Intelligence, and more.
